Where we went over budget

We are starting the process of prepping our home to sell in a couple of springs.  We decided to take out a home equity loan to make it happen, but we haven't secured it yet.  Our front door decided it was going to give out before that happened, so we went over budget on that.  I'm a little uncomfortable with that just hanging out there, so hopefully, the loan is secured soon, and we can have predictable payments with that.
