I was able to "find" more money for our dream home fund! I took some from an overage in our savings for property taxes, which went down this year (sadly, because our home depreciated...). I have decided to put just a tiny bit of money regularly into this fund (a mighty 50 cents a week!) just to get in the habit of saving on a regular basis. Hopefully, next month you'll see the change reflected in the budget, but I'd already done it up for October.
We did go a bit over for household repair, we had a few things break, but we did have money in our fund, so we didn't really go over budget overall.
One category we went over on was health care. There was a snafu where they sent one of our February bills to the wrong address, and they're just now getting around to billing us, so we had to pay for that along with our regular doctor visits that are standard for having four children under 10... we had money to cover everything in our HSA, so we didn't go over budget overall there either.
There were some small charges for work that will be reimbursed, hopefully soon!
