Where we went over budget

My husband needed new jeans for work AND new shoes for work AND new dress shoes, so he totally blew his budget for pretty much the whole year in one week.
As you can see, we spent all but a few pennies worth of our gas budget for the month on our trip this last weekend.  I guess we're walking everywhere now, haha.
We had to get a new microwave.  Our old one kept shorting out and would start cooking randomly on its own, so it was time.  It was a little sooner than I expected to be replacing it- we got an over the range model not that long ago.  Of course, now that we had the issues with the keypad shorting, I read those issues are fairly common in over the range models because of the constant exposure to moisture from cooking food, so we went with a counter top model this time, even though we have very little counter top to spare.  Thankfully, this actually wasn't going over on the budget- our little appliance fund that I started not too long ago had enough to cover replacing the microwave with money to spare.  Yay, budgeting!
