September challenge results and October challenge
As predicted, we failed pretty badly at saving money on gas this past month. We actually didn't do too badly, though, considering we made an unbudgeted for trip, though I guess you could say we didn't completely unbudget our trip- we used an unexpected refund check for an overpayment of a medical bill to cover the gas. Overall, though, we were only $45.72 off from our monthly average, so that's not too bad.
October's challenge is to save money on groceries! I don't usually spend any less, intentionally, we just try really hard not to waste food- hello leftovers and smaller portion sizes to start with (of course, we are always welcome to second helpings if we are still hungry). Join us in saving money this month and being intentional with our spending and eating!
